Here are some MP3 examples of piano background music of the type Phillip plays at functions and receptions. He recorded them at home on his Kawai grand piano*. The examples are basically laid-back versions of, or improvisations on standards. When playing background music, Phillip also mixes in some light jazz arrangements, some Latin items, and piano selections from shows to add variety and change of tempo and pianistic texture.
